UCS has experience in software, map, interface, and regression testing. We support our clients throughout the testing and evaluation process, including creating and maintaining test plans and matrices. The core features of our approach include developing test conditions based on design and functionality specifications, creating problem reports for any defects identified during testing, and tracking deficiencies through resolution and regression testing.

UCS’s testing team coordinates with each project’s developers and other technical teams during every testing phase and hosts a test lab during acceptance testing. UCS’s test labs have proven to be very successful during various releases for the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) acceptance testing efforts for our Department of the Navy client.

To test various interfaces, we set up and perform end-to-end testing. Our technical analysts review extracts to ensure the maps work properly and assist troubleshooting any failed transactions. We have applied this approach, for example, to test the interface between WAWF and the Navy ERP (SAP) system. The Navy tasked the UCS T&E team with testing over $4 million in software changes for WAWF, which required UCS to process over 1,000 test conditions per software version release.
