UCS has experience in supporting the entire process of requirements design and development to include software changes and interface development. Our team of technical experts kicks-off the requirements design phase by clearly defining basic requirements with the client and stakeholders. We apply the requirements to many different scenarios to explore all possible “what ifs” to minimize risk and prevent costly rework that could otherwise occur later in the development process. UCS analyzes the impact of new requirements on existing functionality and interfaces, including user-friendliness and the potential return on investment (ROI).

UCS has supported the requirements design of complex functionality for the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) enterprise system, including system specifications for financial documents; Navy interface functionality; construction, grants, and miscellaneous pay invoice types; and attachment capabilities for interfacing systems. Our technical team, furthermore, has supported building interfaces between WAWF and the following systems:

  • Navy ERP (SAP)
  • Industrial Logistics Support Management Information System (ILSMIS)
  • STARS FL, STARS HQ
  • Facilities Information System (FIS)
Additionally, UCS supported the design and development of new and existing integration components for the existing Standard Procurement System (SPS) legacy system integrations. Currently, 22 Increment 2 interfaces with service level legacy systems are supported:
  • Army – CAPS, CEFMS, AIRS, AMCISS, TAMMIS, RMS, eDARTS, Picatinny Army Arsenal
  • Air Force – IAPS, ABSS, MEDLOG, SBSS, WARRS, WIMS/CEMAS, MONGOOSE
  • Navy – 511R, SYMIS, UADPS, STARS, UICP
  • Marine Corps – SABRS
  • Joint – DMLSS
  • MSC – SPS to Oracle Federal Financials
  • NAVAIR – SPS to Systems Analysis and Program Development (SAP-SIGMA) mySAP ERP
  • NAVSEA – ILSMIS, SPS to the Financial Management System AutoDOCS, SPS to the Professional Support Services Contract Writing System SeaPort/SeaPort-enhanced
  • Additional systems, such as BSM, GFEBS, and Navy ERP, which are in varying stages of design and/or development
